Terms And Conditions

• Please call us on 01224 640340 at least 2 days before the party to confirm the number of guests. You will be charged for a minimum of 8 guests, even if less than 8 children attend.

• Parties run from 10.30am – 12.30pm or 2pm – 4pm. If any attendees wish to continue their visit after the party, they must pay the entry fee (£5.75 per adult, £4.50 per child).
• A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking. This will be deducted from the total cost of the party on the day.
• The cost for the party is £10.95 per child. There will be a £1.50 surcharge for each additional birthday child at a joint party.

This price includes the following;

• Invites
• The birthday party theme
• A "Science on the Spot" demonstration
• Time on the exhibition floor
• Party food for each child (a sandwich (cheese or ham), juice and children’s box containing crisps and a small chocolate bar)
• A party bag for each child

It does not include entry to any of the public shows - entry fee must be paid if you would like to see these.

• For children aged 5 and under, one adult can be admitted free of charge for each paying party child. For children aged 6 and over, in addition to the parents of the birthday child, up to 4 adults can be admitted free per party. Any additional adults will be charged the £5.75 adult entry fee. Adults accompanying the party should supervise the party at all times.
• Siblings of invited party guests who wish to enter the centre will be charged the £4.50 child entry fee and must be supervised by an adult. They will not be entitled to take part in the party theme or to have party food. Additional children’s boxes can be purchased in the café for £3.50. If they would like to be involved in the party and are to be supervised by the party host, they will be charged the £10.95 party fee.
• If any attendees have special dietary requirements, please let us know of this as far in advance as possible. We will do our best to meet your needs however, we are unable to cater for very severe allergies as our catering cannot be guaranteed as nut or any other ingredient free.
• If you would like to bring a birthday cake, please do so. We can either put it in the party bags or serve it to the children along with the party food, just let us know on the day. All other food and drink to be consumed in Satrosphere must be purchased from our café (exceptional dietary requirements excluded).
• Adults collecting party guests should wait in the Front of House area until the children come to collect their party bags. If families picking up their child wish to enter the exhibition floor they must pay an entry fee.
• Additional party bags can be purchased on the day of the party for siblings of party guests or children who could not attend.
