As a member of the Scottish Science Centre Network, Satrosphere Science Centre is an HMIE-inspected educational organisation. We exist to offer inspiring science experiences for learners of all ages, supporting school and community education, and Curriculum for Excellence.

Introduction

Satrosphere Science Centre offers a range of exciting educational resources. Our main attraction - 'The Exhibition Hall' - allows your pupils to experiment with over 50 interactive exhibits and learn about science and technology in a fun, hands-on way.

During your visit, pupils can also develop their investigative skills with our interactive workshops or be amazed by one of our curriculum-linked science shows.

You can pre-select your shows and workshops from a wide range of topics, allowing you to tailor your visit to deliver different areas of the curriculum. We have a new education programme so there are some new workshops to choose from.

LunchByte Lectures at Satrosphere
As part of Techfest week Satrosphere is hosting several lectures from the LunchByte series. These lectures are an amazing opportunity not only to see what kind of research is happening in the North East but to get a chance to talk with researchers and see what a career in science is really like!
