As a member of the Scottish Science Centre Network, Satrosphere Science Centre is an HMIE-inspected educational organisation. We exist to offer inspiring science experiences for learners of all ages, supporting school and community education, and Curriculum for Excellence.

Introduction

Satrosphere Science Centre offers a range of exciting educational resources. Our main attraction - 'The Exhibition Hall' - allows your pupils to experiment with over 50 interactive exhibits and learn about science and technology in a fun, hands-on way.

During your visit, pupils can also develop their investigative skills with our interactive workshops or be amazed by one of our curriculum-linked science shows.

You can pre-select your shows and workshops from a wide range of topics, allowing you to tailor your visit to deliver different areas of the curriculum. We have a new education programme so there are some new workshops to choose from.

Regular opening hours
Constitution Street is closed to through traffic but we are still open as usual with free parking for our visitors.

Chemistry Map of Scotland
For the International Year of Chemistry in 2011, the Scottish Local Sections of the Royal Society of Chemistry are producing an interactive Chemistry Map of Scotland. We hope that schools will produce single page articles that describe Chemistry history or events that have taken place in their local area. Let's put Aberdeen on the map!
