‘ENERGY ISLAND -- Discovering Renewable Energy’
Satrosphere was privileged be part of a team of experts from Science Centres, Children’s museums and hands-on museums all over Europe involved in an exciting project to develop an International Network and exchange ideas on the topic of renewable energy. This partnership has now resulted in the building of a brand new bespoke exhibition which explores five types of renewable energy in an exciting and informative way.
The exhibition will be touring Science Centres across Europe over the next two years and Satrosphere is next on the list!
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn about the different types of renewable energy and the benefits and problems of each. With this knowledge you will then be able to play a game which allows you to control the Energy Island by trying to provide enough energy to meet its needs.
Interactive exhibits will help children and adults discover more about renewable energy and help better prepare them for the future on our island Earth.
To complement the exhibition the Satrosphere team will also be hosting activities for schools and public.
The ‘ENERGY ISLAND -- Discovering Renewable Energy’ exhibition will be open to the public from the 25th Of February 2010 until the 4th of May 2010.
