About Us
Satrosphere Science Centre is Scotland’s first science and discovery centre, and first opened to the public in 1988. The centre has over 50 hands-on interactive exhibits and live science shows, which inspire the scientist within as well as entertain the whole family.
The centre is part of the Scottish Science Centres Network, along with Sensation Dundee, Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh and Glasgow Science Centre.
Satrosphere aims to inspire the scientists of tomorrow and to spark renewed interest in university science courses, currently in decline.
Satrosphere Limited is a registered Scottish education charity engaged in promoting the public understanding of science.
